Karate-do V.S. Taekwondo, Jin V.S. Hwoarang

Literal translation, Chinese-hand-way, or Way of the Chinese Hand.
The martial art originated from Okinawa. A very noticable offshoot of this martial art is Taekwondo, which just happens to be Hwoarang's martial art, who by coincidence is Jin's rival, this offshoot among others being dissowned by Japanese practitioners, perhaps because of Japan's preocupation of primacy or purity of art, with Jin being the representative of Karatedo and Hwoarang of Taekwondo this coincidence just makes one wonder, are the creators of Tekken creating subtle hints of their hatred for the impure art? hmm something to think about aye?
